From the warm welcome by Erica and John to the stunning views of the river and well-kept gardens, our stay at this hotel was delightful. The spacious en suite room was spotless and the breakfast in the conservatory, with John's homemade bread and scones, was delicious. Erica was attentive, ensuring we had our tea just the way we like it. We received great tips on local attractions and truly felt at home during our stay. We can't wait to return!
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was personalized with relaxing views and a BEAUTIFUL location right on the riverside. I enjoyed configuration of the double room. The breakfast had variety of options, including coffee and jam. Location: the property was very close to the local restaurant and pubs, and the garden and the river that flows at the back of the house. Stopped by Maple Moose to get some coffee and treats, it's close to the venue, recommend.

The location of this place is prime! It's just a short walk from town and right by the river. Perfect for a relaxing evening drink. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed - coffee maker, tea, water, and a mini fridge. The décor was lovely and added to the overall charm of the place.
I was not impressed with the service. The staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in making my stay enjoyable.

The location of the hotel is ideal, with a 5-minute walk to town and close proximity to bike rental shops. The Shepherd's Hut offers a cute and cosy stay, with everything you could possibly need. The homemade breads served during breakfast are exceptional, as mentioned by previous guests.
No negative feelings were expressed about the hotel in the reviews.
